Cancer Can't welcomes Kellie Evans to our Board of Directors. Kellie brings passion, resilience and dedication to supporting families facing cancer.
Kellie was raised in Spokane. She graduated from Gonzaga University in 2002, with a degree in psychology. After marrying her college sweetheart in 2007 and welcoming their children in 2012 and 2015, Kellie worked as a stay-at-home mom supporting her husband, Danny, in his dream role as Associate Head Baseball Coach at Gonzaga University.
In May of 2021, Danny was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma. He bravely battled the disease for 11 months before losing his battle in April of 2022. Despite the incredibly difficult journey of the past several years, Kellie remains excited to continue to honor her husband by working to help others through Cancer Can’t.
